Corporate Counsel
Amazon Studios is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join the legal affairs group in Los Angeles.
This role will primarily support Amazon's original scripted television content, with a focus on managing all legal aspects during development to production.
Responsibilities include:
Structuring, drafting, and negotiating a high volume of agreements for Amazon Studios' scripted television projects, including rights option/acquisition agreements, key above-the-line agreements for writers, producers, and directors, first look and overall agreements, production services agreements and co-production agreements.
Managing chain-of-title across projects and evaluating and resolving complex rights issues.
Analyzing issues, interpreting contracts and providing thoughtful legal advice to creative, business affairs and other Amazon Studios groups on potential risks and issues involving intellectual property, personal and privacy rights, labor and employment, and regulatory and compliance matters.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
