As Music continues to grow, we are looking for a talented and passionate Sr.
UX Design Leader to play a vital role in shaping the end-to-end artist experience on Amazon Music.
In this role, you will lead a small team and help us define and build artist-facing tools and delightful fan experience that span multiple platforms and technologies, including mobile, web, TV and voice.
In crafting these experiences, you will work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Researchers, Engineers, Program Managers and many others across the organization.
You and your team will lead UX design for a variety of large-scale projects, from research and discovery to high fidelity designs and release.
As a Design leader, you will also be working closely with Product Management to help craft the vision and set the product direction.
To be successful, you must be a critical, inventive, and strategic thinker with clear design chops and an ability to communicate your ideas effectively to peers, stakeholders and executives.
Being a big music fan is a plus.
Responsibilities Balance hands-on work with managing and creatively leading a team of user experience designers to define and deliver end-to-end experiences for Amazon Music's artists and customers.
Work cross-functionally to help define requirements, user scenarios and use cases, as well as drive elegant design solutions from early concepts through final implementation and iteration.
Use research, data and customer insights to set design direction and confidently defend design solutions with senior leaders.
Lead cross-discipline workshops, strategic design discussions, and design reviews with peers, partners, and top-level executives.
Continue the growth and development of an awesome team of designers.
Help the team be even more successful through design reviews, coaching, skills growth, and supporting ongoing learning.
Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
