IT Support Engineers are internally facing and provide in person and occasional remote support of personal computing devices, peripherals and the infrastructure that connects them.
Amazon employees are our customers and it is imperative that we provide timely, accurate, and professional support at all times.
A successful IT Support Engineer excels in a fast-paced, ever changing, team environment and possesses excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
They have a high degree of technical aptitude over a large breadth of IT software, hardware, and networking disciplines.
Regular activities include:
Windows/Mac/Linux OS imaging, configuration, deployment and support User hardware/software/peripheral setup and support LAN troubleshooting and support Hardware procurement and asset management Ticket queue management Creating and maintaining documentation Mentoring and handling escalations from junior team members.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
