We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Legal Team as an HR Specialist, supporting Amazon Studios Productions.

This role requires a sophisticated and innovative HR professional, who is a self-starter with strong writing, analytical and problem solving skills, and highly-skilled at managing misconduct investigations.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience with development, implementation and maintenance of compliance, policies, and procedures.
The ideal candidate has a passion for promoting a culture that fosters ethical and compliant behavior and providing the basis for ensuring adequate internal controls and compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Develops and oversees a system for uniform handling of code of conduct and policy violations on Production sets Investigate highly sensitive EEO and misconduct issues, including:
conducting claimant, witness, and subject interviews; analyzing evidence; composing investigation reports; proposing remedial action based on investigation findings Analyze casework trends to produce strategic recommendations to the business to proactively address and mitigate systemic issues Partner in analysis and revision of programs, policies, and practices to sustain a positive work environment for Amazon Studios production workers Design and/or deliver training, resources, and programs to managers and leaders on worker relations and compliance practices Develops, initiates, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
Manages day-to-day operation of the Program for Studio Productions Ensure productions are in compliance with applicable wage and hour laws Support roll-out of new policy changes/services and ensure business adoption and understanding of changes Consult with legal teams and global HR policy, process, business, and system owners to ensure that sound protocols are in place to mitigate background check related risks Working with human resources, business partners, and legal teams to manage complex employment requirements, controls, and risk issues Researching legal and regulatory obligations with business, labor, and employment attorneys Establish mechanisms and processes for ongoing monitoring of the state of compliance with HR obligations, including triggers to initiate reviews and assessments.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
