Financial Analyst in Culver City, CA for 6 months+
The successful candidate will:
- Help maintain / update current spreadsheet used for tracking HC.
- Collaborate with teammate(s) for both close and forecast. Track financial status by monitoring variances from plan.
- Determine financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results.
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Provide information to manager by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; and analyses.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of accounting fundamentals.
- Excellent skills with Excel, including pivot table analysis.
- Familiarity with all other Microsoft Office software: Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail but with bias toward action and issue resolution.
- Ability to multi-task, managing time and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong personal initiative ability to work independently & effectively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when working with sensitive / non-public information.
- Experience with monthly financial close processes and related variance analysis.
- Working knowledge of SAP general ledger accounting & BEx / BW reporting systems a Plus.
Basic
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
