We are looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer to work on cutting-edge multimedia applications for the desktop and Web. In this position you will be part of a small engineering team focused on delivering innovative user interface software that will play a key role in our vision for an integrated entertainment experience.
Responsibilities:
Implement the User Interface for desktop applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other Web technologies.
Take individual responsibility for the entire development cycle from requirements definition and design through coding, debugging, testing and final release.
Work closely within a tight knit team of experienced engineers to produce high-quality software products on an aggressive schedule.
Demonstrate professional engineering practices including adherence to coding standards, producing design documentation, and supporting integration.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, and Minimum of 4
years experience in commercial software development
Experience developing with Web presentation technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Expertise in object-oriented design methodologies
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Photoshop experience
Cross-browser compatibility
Accessibility (Section 508)
Experience with application integration
Preferred:
Familiarity with cutting edge web technologies, especially HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, XSL
Knowledge of Object-oriented JavaScript practices, Ajax and related protocols
Mobile web experience
SEO
User Experience
IA / Wireframing / Interaction designEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
