Description

Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions (SPWA) is a multi-faceted division in both Production and Acquisitions. Productions include both Theatrical releases (SOUL SURFER, THE CALL, SPARKLE) and sequels (HOSTEL, SWAT, QUARANTINE). Acquisitions range from pre-buys (MOON, DISTRICT 9) to Festival buys (INSIDIOUS, ATTACK THE BLOCK, HER, WHIPLASH).

Support two senior executives on the Production side of Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions with reading, coverage, research, and light office duties (phone calls, logging, scheduling, correspondence). Intern will be provided with exposure to creative development, production, marketing and distribution.

Qualifications

The Spectrum Internship Program's summer session is a full time commitment lasting from June through August. All applicants must be in good academic standing and available for the entire 8 week session.
Candidates should have strong writing skills and be able to articulate their ideas. They should be highly organized, versatile, Mac/Microsoft Office proficient as well as self-motivated. Most importantly they need to be passionate about film!

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
