Manage large complex infrastructure by designing, planning, and implementing complex infrastructure systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Work with vendors to keep ahead of technological trends, devote a proportion of time to research and proof of concept projects. Work as part of a global 24x7 team, responding to urgent operational issues when needed. Coordinate and collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams and application development groups to provide successful infrastructure level platform facilities to meet performance, scalability/growth, reliability, networking, roadmap timescale and budget requirements. Help define operational procedures for all new systems or define major revisions of existing systems. Provide ongoing support to operational teams. Provide consultancy services and advice to multiple related groups e.g. IT, Development, Operations, Program Management on 15-20 different systems, each of which is complex. Defining operational procedures for new systems or major revisions of existing systems, define and document operational processes to be followed in production, and carry out full review cycle. Perform advanced troubleshooting and production system issue resolution, and provide expert and speedy root cause analysis, formulating expedient workarounds where appropriate and ideal long-term solutions. Work with multiple internal and external teams to provide solutions, and manage customer communications and status updates until resolution is complete. Multiple positions, various types/levels. Requirements - Position requires Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, or related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
