Job Description The Receptionist & Office Assistant position is responsible for answering incoming calls and addressing them appropriately, managing the front desk, and assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and bookkeeping.
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Answers telephones, directs calls, and take messages.
Compiles, copies, sorts and files records of office activities, business transactions and other activities.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.
Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, fax machines, voice mail systems and personal computers.
Open, sort and route incoming mail; Prepare outgoing mail.
Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10 key by touch.
Excellent PC skills with proficiency using MS software (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and internet research capabilities.
Strong organizational abilities, with an aptitude for detail and multi-tasking.
Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, establish priorities, work independently, handle interruptions and proceed with objectives with minimum supervision.
A friendly and professional demeanor, customer service skills.
5 years of current work experience in a similar position.
High School Diploma or GED Required.
