Front office assistant needs to be personable, efficient, hard-working, and fast learner.
Position includes answering new patient calls and emails, coordination of pre-visit paperwork, insurance verification, and credit card collections.
You should be able to multitask calmly and be able to work in a fast paced setting.
The office has systems in place for efficient daily functioning.
High level of service provided to patients, many of whom know the doctor for ten to twenty years.
A quick learner good with technology is desirable.
There are separate back office staff who handle patient check ins, vital signs, and assist the doctor with procedures.
Salary negotiable and commensurate with your experience level and background in the $24-$30 range, can also include health insurance stipend.
Parking included.
The doctor sees patients 3 and a days a week so there is time to focus on administrative tasks 1 days of the week.
Office is in Culver City.
Job is 830 am to 5pm.
Five days a week (M-F).
Interview right away; start to train as soon as possible.
