Job summaryAt Amazon Studios, we are looking for a System Development Engineer with prior experience in Media and Entertainment industry to lead development and deployment of new cloud infrastructure in AWS that will support platforms and content workflows for multiple initiatives within the Amazon Studios Technology Organization.

Do you have senior level experience developing and deploying networking technologies, topologies and solutions for Media and Entertainment workloads? Do you have extensive technology experience and skills to support cloud platform, technologies and infrastructure solutions?Key job responsibilitiesBe the lead subject matter expert on AWS cloud networking domain including roadmap development, planning and execution responsibilities while providing guidance to the senior leadership team.
Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain scalable system infrastructure solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
Evolve systems engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all team deliverables.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for development teams.
Work as a technical leader of the AWS cloud solutions alongside business, development and other infrastructure teamsLead technical and design discussions with internal teams to help speed their adoption of new technologies and practicesWorking closely with internal customers and partners to drive technology roadmaps and invent new bleeding edge network solutionsCreate a vision and plan for the team to execute by targeting gaps and identifying innovation opportunities to resolve connectivity, security, availability, scalability, operability, performance, agility and cost efficiency challenges.
Work with external vendors, telecoms, partners and industry standards groups and guide implementation of solutions that meet the growing needs of Amazon Studios.
A day in the lifeDesigning and building the next generation studio in the cloud, experimenting with different storage options for our customers, collaborating with different AWS teams and partners on making movie production more efficient.
Inventing new ways to intergrade on-premises technology with AWS cloud while building an all-new studio from the ground up and much more.
About the teamThe Media Engineering and Innovation team mission and charter is anchored in delivering best in class experiences to our customers and at the same time educating Studio Executives, above-the-line talent, Film/TV production, and general stakeholders on our cutting-edge solutions that will create new ways to tell our stories as well as bring cost savings, scale, and efficiencies to Amazon Originals.
Both as a physical space and a program, Media Engineering and Innovation provides internal teams and external stakeholders with opportunities to test the application of new solutions to studio and production use cases.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
