Job summaryThe Amazon Music Podcast team is looking for a highly-creative, self-motivated, and high-judgement PR professional with a depth of experience and interest in digital entertainment and content, to manage day-to-day for podcast content campaigns - from developing strategic positioning, to execution, from the launch of new shows and beyond.
You will partner closely with the podcast marketing and content development teams across Amazon Music and with Wondery, which joined Amazon Music in 2021 as the company's premiere podcast studio.
You will lead and manage PR campaigns for Amazon Music and Wondery original tentpole, talent-driven podcasts.
As a member of this team, you will work alongside the global Amazon Music PR team and with podcast creators, producers, talent, and their representatives on a daily basis.
You will have solid entertainment industry and/or consumer media relationships, experience working with top tier creators and talent, identifying trend story initiatives, and experience driving show campaigns.
You must be creative, with excellent communications skills, and the ability to work well with others.
This position is based in LA or NY, and will require regular travel.
Key job responsibilitieso Develop and manage strategic public relations programs and campaigns that drive awareness of Amazon Music and Wondery content.
o Collaborate with internal stakeholder teams in order to drive successful campaigns and content launches.
o Support multiple publicity campaigns as a global leader, executing in the US and working closely alongside local territory PR leads with positioning and guiding principles, to ensure consistency in overall Amazon Music/Wondery podcast content messaging.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key media to generate coverage in support of content launches, and maintain a steady drumbeat of accurate and positive coverage for podcast shows.
o Remain aware of the latest news in the entertainment, podcast and digital audio space.
o Develop messaging and media awareness for key spokespeople and talent for announcements, industry panels and interviews.
o Manage external vendors and public relations agencies on strategy, execution, and day-to-day matterso Coordinate with other Amazon PR professionals to leverage relationships, establish best practices, and collaborate on a unified Amazon entertainment vision.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
