Job summaryPrime Video is seeking a talented, creative and driven publicity professional to join the Amazon Studios Series PR team as a Publicist supporting and serving as an integral part of a high-profile global multi-title franchise, as well as our growing slate of Local Original television series (titles originating outside the US).
This role requires a critical thinker with solid public relations skills and press relationships, and you must have the ability to develop and execute on out-of-the box ideas.
You will be able to work closely with senior members of the team to help navigate cross-functional initiatives and dive into the details of various internal and external requests.
Solid written, verbal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to collaborate and be an effective team player are also important in this fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilitiesHelp implementing and developing strategic publicity plans that drive buzz and awareness of Prime Video series on a global scale.
Support senior PR team on high profile series campaigns.
Help ensure team coordinators are gathering clips, maintain press screeners, etc.
for relevant series.
Maintain positive relationships with talent, producers, publicists, agents, managers, production staff, media, cross-functional partners and executives.
Utilize series talent and executive producers for press opportunities.
Coordinate logistics for talent appearances globally, when applicable.
Help coordinate in person and virtual junkets and premiere events.
Coordinate and negotiate rates for hair, makeup and styling for talent.
Help track and maintain show budgets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media, pitching press directly.
Beyond domestic media relations, actively develop understanding of media landscapes and practices across key international markets.
Track and maintain relevant publicity campaign success metrics.
Share information with external public relations agencies on strategy and day-to-day matters (if applicable).
Keep current on trends, issues and news about both the business and consumer worlds of television and entertainment in general (including international content).
Communicate key information and issues to stakeholders as it relates to our series.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
