Job summaryPrime Video is seeking a talented, creative, and self-motivated publicity professional to join the Amazon Studios Series PR team as a Publicist.
You will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of publicity campaigns for Amazon Original Series and must be a critical thinker with solid public relations skills and press relationships.
You will work closely with senior members of the team to navigate cross-functional initiatives and dive into the details of various internal and external requests.
Solid written, verbal, and organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to collaborate and be an effective team player in a fast-paced environment.
This individual will be based in Culver City and report to the Publicity Principal.
Key job responsibilitieso Create and implement strategic publicity plans that drive buzz and awareness for Amazon Original Series on a global scaleo Support the senior PR team on high profile series campaignso Help ensure team coordinators and interns are gathering clips, maintain press screeners, etc.
for relevant serieso Maintain positive relationships with talent, producers, publicists, agents, managers, production staff, media, cross-functional partners and executives.
o Utilize series talent and creative teams for press opportunitieso Coordinate logistics for talent appearances globally, when applicableo Organize and execute in-person and virtual junkets and premiere eventso Help track and maintain series budgets and campaign success metricso Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media and pitching press directlyo Manage external public relations agencies on strategy and day-to-day matters (if applicable)o Keep current on trends, issues and news about both the business and consumer worlds of television and entertainment in generalo Communicate key information and issues to relevant stakeholders as it pertains to our series.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
