Job summaryThe Amazon Public Relations team is seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and savvy technology PR professional for the role of Public Relations Manager, Partners.
You will be responsible for technology partner PR activities, such as PR counsel on the program for a specific organization, proactive announcements in collaboration with third parties, and messaging and narrative management.

You will be a self-starter who can clearly formulate and communicate both B2B and B2C PR recommendations and plans to peers, third parties, and executives, and can also drive collaborative decisions and deliver results.
You will also be comfortable providing counsel and guidance to a wide variety of internal and external counterparts and collaborators crossing a number of disciplines.
Additionally, you will consistently work with a range of media contacts with a focus on technology, channel, vertical, and national business publications.
You will have PR experience in partner programs, B2B technology expertise, a track record of successfully managing proactive announcements with coverage results, and media relations expertise in both pitching proactive stories on a national scale and managing reactive storylines.
Key job responsibilitieso Lead PR strategy and programs related to partnerso Provide counsel to executives on PR approaches and messagingo Manage and guide proactive PR announcements, launches, and narrativeso Work with third parties on collaborative announcementso Develop and manage relationships with a range of top-tier media contacts, including those in the technology, channel, vertical, and business spaceso Write and evolve messaging and talking points in a thoughtful and strategic wayo Build, guide, and execute PR plans, including communicating plans internally and securing leadership approvalso Drive proactive technology and customer-forward storytelling effortso Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges, both proactively and reactivelyo Help manage a third-party agency to support PR activities.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
