Amazon Studios is looking for a Communications Lead for the Amazon Studios PR team.
You will be based in Culver City and report to the Publicity Principal, Content of Amazon Studios.
Key job responsibilitieso Work with Publicity Principal and Head of Content PR on communications strategy for Amazon Studios across movies and serieso Draft press releases, media alerts, pitches, executive communications, bios, talking points, and other written material as neededo Pitch stories to all external media outlets, including traditional print reporters and critics, electronic media and mainstream online outlets, as well as non-traditional media.
o Identify and secure speaking opportunities and interview opportunities for Amazon Studios executiveso Monitor and track press coverage for distribution to senior leadershipo Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant mediao Manage external public relations agency on strategy and day-to-day matters (if applicable)o Cover executives and/or studio talent at industry eventso Liaison with international counterparts for executive and/or talent travel and appearance logistics at international industry eventso Keep current on trends, issues and news about both the business and consumer worlds of television and entertainment in generalo Communicate to stakeholders key information and issues as it relates to our content.
