Job summaryAmazon Studios is hiring a Publicity Lead to handle day to day publicity campaigns for scripted and unscripted series.
You will set and execute strategy across a number of series, liaison with key media, producers, talent and their representatives, providing a creative and thorough campaign launch.

Responsibilities:
Create and implement strategic publicity plans that drive buzz and awareness of Amazon Original Series on a global scale Utilize series talent and executive producers for press opportunities, as well as maintain strong talent relations with show talent and behind the scenes creatives Draft media alerts, press kit materials, and messaging points for titles Coordinate logistics for talent and producer movement and media opps, when applicable Coordinate and plan appearances or participation at key industry and fan events including TCA, SXSW, Comic-Con, NY Comic-Con, Paley, Tribeca and various festivals.
Plan, coordinate and staff in person and/or virtual junkets and premiere events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media, pitching press directly.
Manage external public relations agency on strategy and day-to-day matters (if applicable) Create and maintain a show budget Keep current on trends, issues and news about both the business and consumer worlds of television and entertainment in general Coordinate activities on series with global PR counterparts Communicate to stake holders such as development and marketing execs key information and issues as it relates to our series Identify opportunities, streamline projects, and develop processes that can be shared with counterparts and team members.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
